Summary

This Technical Paper describes the evolution of evaluation criteria for selecting climate-related EEA indicators and the application of those criteria to the indicators presented in the EEA 2012 report “Climate change, impacts and vulnerability in Europe 2012, An indicator-based report” (EEA Report No 12/2012). The document concludes with some reflections on the application of the criteria to different groups of indicators in the EEA Report No 12/2012.
